Dear Hope family,

With COVID-19 all around us we may be afraid but God is not. God has not forgotten us, and has not abandoned us. We don’t have to fear…

  1. The COVID- 19 pandemic
  2. The stock market decline
  3. For lack of food

These days require a shift in focus. It’s a matter of a gaze and a glance. Most of society gazes on this temporal world and occasionally glances toward God. We need to shift to in the words of Paul “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18).

You are Not forgotten! We want to stay connected to our whole family and anyone who would like to be part of this family. You can stay connected in several ways;

  1. Check out our web sight www.hope-umc.us
  2. Check us out on Facebook. We will be doing twice daily prayers on Facebook live. This will take place at 8 AM and 8 PM. You can pray with us and even respond.
  3. You can get on our email list so we can send you e-news.
  4. You can call Pastor Scott to talk and pray at 616-307-9765.
  5. You can call each other and check in.

We appreciate your prayers and your faithful giving during this difficult time.

You are not forgotten,

Pastor Scott.

Edwardsburg food pantry

If funds are running dry the food pantry wants to help. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 1230. You can receive food every other week. You don’t even need to leave your car. Go behind our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, stay in your car, and food will be brought to you. It’s fast, it’s safe, and it’s what Jesus would do.
